2007 Nell and Will Asley College Scholarship

 

The Staten Island Division of the Greater New York March of Dimes is proud to announce it is now accepting applications for its 2007 Nell and Will Asley College Scholarship. The Asley Scholarship is open to college-bound high school seniors who were born with a birth defect. Applicants must be a Staten Island resident and be planning to attend an accredited four-year college or university. Students are required to submit a completed application with a 500-word essay and school references. This year's Asley Scholarship award is expectd to be between $5,000 - $10,000 per year for four years. The deadline is January 15, 2007. Applications are available through local high schools (college advisor's office) or directly through the March of Dimes. Interested students may call the office at 718 981-3000 for more information.
