SPLASH Week at the YMCA April 21-25

The primary purpose of YMCA Splash Week is to help people of all ages, especially children and families, to learn basic swimming skills and water safety practices. While participating in the program young people learn about the Y’s four core values: respect, responsibility, honesty and caring.

Learning water safety and swimming skills helps participants to be safe in and around water. This builds self confidence and self esteem which carries over into other parts of life. During SPLASH Week swimmers can learn about the Y’s holistic approach to living-combining spirit, mind and body.

The Staten Island YMCA Broadway and South Shore Branches will participate:
Staten Island YMCA Broadway Branch - 651 Broadway – (718) 981-4933
Staten Island YMCA South Shore Branch – 3939 Richmond Ave. – (718) 227-3232
