A Friendly Face, Autism Treatment Services, specializes in providing ABA therapy, Social Skills Groups, and Family training to families with children ages birth to 17.
Autism Spectrum Disorder is one of the most prevalent developmental disabilities in the United States, affecting one in 68 children.
We understand how difficult and frustrating it can be to find the professional assistance that you need for your child. Therefore, the main goal of AFF is to provide highly skilled and trained behavior professionals to help you, your child, and your whole family to acclimate to a life of loving and caring for someone on the Autism Spectrum.
Our clinical team, consisting of board-certified and highly experienced behavior professionals, will provide services to your family in various locations of your choice. Essentially, we go where you need us to be. For the past few years, our clinicians have been traveling to the homes, daycares, community centers, and schools of children on the Autism Spectrum to deliver effective behavioral treatment according to the methodologies of Applied Behavior Analysis.
For those not familiar with Applied Behavior Analysis, it is the underlying clinical methodology that guides all of our treatment programmings. ABA therapy involves selecting target behaviors and systematically implementing interventions that are carefully designed to increase or decrease those behaviors. Over time this results in the acquisition of many different skills and the reduction or eliminating of various maladaptive behaviors.
Here at AFF, we have specially designed Autism treatment centers that hold social skills groups, individual ABA sessions, family training, sibling support groups, ASD teen groups, and much more. At these centers, while in the social skills group setting, we integrate ABA with an enrichment segment of music, art, yoga, read aloud, and more!
The ABA therapy services we provide are covered by most major commercial insurances and Child Health Plus plans, and our team will work to ensure that your child receives the services they require to reach their maximum potential.
