The Caribbean Vibe Steel Drum Band will take you to the islands with their repertoire of reggae and other party favorites. Steel drums are traditionally made out of the bottoms of 55 gallon oil barrels. The bottoms are hammered inward with different areas being shaped to make different sounds.

The event is part of the museum’s Boogie Woogie Wednesdays, which are weekly free outdoor interactive musical events held through August each summer.
