Event Details

As part of the Staten Island Greenbelt, this elevated boardwalk free guided trail walk explores one of the largest urban nature preserves in the United States.  A Protectors of Pine Oak Woods guide will lead you to Priory Pond, home to panfish and brown bullhead catfish. Guides offer commentary on wildlife, flora and all there is to see along the trail.

The newly constructed boardwalk is wheelchair accessible and the flat walkway is accommodating for all. This walk is designed for those with mobility issues or parents who have young ones in strollers. For more information contact Brian Smith at (917) 842-6585.
