The Zimmer Club Youth Conservation Program of Staten Island will host the Annual Huck Finn Fishing Tournament and Costume Contest.

Registration begins at 8am. Fishing starts at 9am and is open to all children between the ages of 5-14. Following the tournament at 11am will be a costume contest: Children are encouraged to dress as Huck Finn, Tom Sawyer and Becky Thatcher, the main characters from the “The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn.” The contest is open to ages 4-14.

Bait and tackle will be supplied, and trophies will be awarded. The first 100 participants will receive a free bamboo fishing rod to keep.
