Join the Staten Island Zoo, NYC Parks Department and the Greenbelt Conservancy for the Third Annual BioBlitz at Blue Heron Park. This is a 24-hour survey of all living organisms in one region to measure local biodiversity. Biologists, naturalists and volunteers will work together to identify as many species as they can in a 24-hour window.
To participate in BioBlitz, register online for one of the sessions taking place during the 24 hours. The sessions are free but limited to 20 registrants each.
