Join Hudson River Park (HRPK) for the virtual program, River Project: Diversity Digest, where participants will learn what it means to be a naturalist, cataloging local wildlife with the free iNaturalist app throughout the week and then sharing their observations with the HRPK community. Participants will get a chance to ask park staff questions.
HRPK’s River Project conducts research and offers hands-on environmental education and scientific programming with the purpose of communicating the ecological importance of the Park’s 400-acre Estuarine Sanctuary. Dedicated to community engagement, stewardship and learning, the River Project offers at-home STEM activities, tours of marine-biology stations and other educational resources to support scientific understanding of the Lower Hudson Estuary.
