Celebrating our 61st year! Offering technique classes in: Ballet, Pointe, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Street Tap, Modern/Lyrical, Irish Step dancing, Turns & Extensions and Triple Threat (Musical Theatre)
We are a non-competitive school and give our students plenty of performing opportunities throughout the year, not only to make them stronger performers but to learn to give back to their community. They dance at festivals, restaurant crawls, parades, fundraisers, private parties and will be dancing in Disney again in 2020. The studio is family run and you can feel the warm, encouraging environment upon entering. The June recital was even titled: “60 Years Together!” Thousands have danced through those doors through the years and we teach many 2nd and 3rd generations.
Mrs. Rosemary taught for 50 wonderful years and her daughters continue with her legacy of running the school and continuing with her mission. Strong technique is built through positive reinforcement and self-esteem is raised at the same time. Many students have gone on to be professional dancers/performers and continue in the entertainment industry. Presently Gabriella Sorrentino is the dance captain and a performer in Hamilton on Broadway for over 3 years. She also understudies one of the lead roles of the Skyler sisters. Victoria Miranda has been on Jimmy Fallon’s late show staff for the past 7 years. Anna Polyachenko & Arianna Andretta are currently doing summer stock and regional shows & tours. Six girls have gone on to be Radio City Music Hall Rockettes and the list goes on and on. But most importantly the school strives to provide a safe, nurturing, professional environment. Whether they become a mathematician or a broadway star, they leave the studio with the confidence and great self-esteem that paves the path for success.
The season runs from September through June with a lovely recital at the St. George Theatre featuring a live orchestra at the end of June. Summer intensive classes are also offered.
Adult classes are offered in the evening, and they are packed and fun!
We have an open door policy where parents get to sit and observe the class. Parents enjoy watching and the little ones love knowing that their parents are right there. There are no contracts. If for any reason it doesn’t work out, just finish out the month and that’s it. No worries.
A full line of dancewear is sold at the school all year round and is sold at a discounted price you won’t find in stores.
