CBJ Hebrew School is the only afterschool Hebrew school on Staten Island run by a special education administrator with a NYC-licensed special education Hebrew teacher on staff and fully integrated programs. By utilizing differentiated instruction, learning centers and experiential learning infused in all of our programs throughout the day, our students with special needs, as well as our general education students, are provided a multitude of learning opportunities.

Our curriculum includes meaningful prayer, Shabbat, holidays, ethics, history/culture, reading/speaking Hebrew, and our unique connection to Israel. Through hands-on activities such as cooking, crafts, and projects along with traditional and contemporary Jewish music, Israeli dancing, and storytelling, our students enjoy a rich and diversified environment that helps our students feel connected to something special, the Jewish community.
