As the chilly months roll in, donating coats and clothing to those in need is a wonderful way to spread kindness. It’s the perfect give back to our community members who are in need of warmth this holiday season. Looking for places to donate clothes or coats? Check out the following list of Staten Island coat drives and other places to donate clothing.

Keeping Kids Warm

1150 South Ave., Suite 303, Staten Island

Drop-off at SIBOR headquarters will be available from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, beginning Tuesday, Oct. 15, and continuing through Thursday, Dec. 12.

The Staten Island Board of Realtors (SIBOR) is seeking contributions of new children’s coats for its “Keeping Kids Warm” program, aimed at helping local children in need.

Organizers are seeking a range of children’s sizes, from 5 to adult medium. 

Raymour and Flanigan Coat Drive 

Forest Avenue – 2232 Forest Avenue

Richmond Avenue – 283 Platinum Avenue

Hylan Boulevard – 2590 Hylan Blvd

Staten Island Mall – 2655 Richmond Avenue

South Avenue – 1 South Avenue

Every coat collected will go directly to a child in need. Please share the warmth by supporting our efforts. Your generosity will give families struggling with homelessness and housing insecurity one less thing to worry about as they work to recover and regain their independence.

New York Cares

The New York Cares Coat Drive is back for its 36th year of warming up NY, inside and out. Through their website, you can donate money and create your own coat drive account with a designated collection site. 

One Warm Coat

One Warm Coat promotes sustainability while providing resources on where to donate coats to individuals in need. Use their search tab to locate coat drives all over New York and the United States.

The Staten Island Moravian Churches

The Staten Island Moravian Churches work to help our communities. They hold coat drives and clothing distribution projects. Visit their website for more information on when and how to get involved.
