Most Terrific Child Center is located at Rosebank, Staten Island and has been a part of the community since 2009. Our certified staff will guide your child to their full potential through fun and engaging learning experiences. We strive for open communication between the home and center in order to form strong relationships in our community while encouraging parents to be involved with their child’s education. We look forward to the opportunity to shape your child’s developing mind!

At the Most Terrific Child Center, we believe that children learn best through exploration and hands on experiences. They acquire the ability to relate to the world around them through active engagement with their environment. We foster their ability to make connections between the way we live and the content of our classes with real-world experiences.

The classrooms at Most Terrific Child Center are organized into activity centers. The day is scheduled into blocks of time meeting the physical needs of the children and providing both teacher-directed and self-selected activities. Throughout the day there is a balance between indoor and outdoor time, active and quiet activities, and individual and group routines. The schedule provides a familiar framework for the children that is secure and consistent.

The children will receive three meals a day as part of the program. The Division of Early Childhood Education has developed Interdisciplinary Instructional Guidance for 3-K and Pre-K for All.
