The New York Botanical Garden will once again transform into a winter wonderland this year with the return of two popular holiday experiences: The Holiday Train Show and NYBG GLOW.

New York Botanical Garden Train Show

A favorite holiday tradition among tourists and New Yorkers alike for more than 30 years, the botanical garden’s train show is back! Tickets are on sale now.

Visitors will see model trains zip through a display of more than 190 New York landmarks, including the Statue of Liberty, Brooklyn Bridge and Yankee Stadium. Each miniature landmark will be re-created from natural materials that are signatures of the season. These materials include leaves, bark, acorns and cinnamon sticks.

You’ll see more than 25 G-scale model trains and trolleys going along almost a half-mile of track. New York City bridges come together to create an aerial display of trains overhead, too.

The Holiday Train Show will run Saturday, Nov. 18, 2023, through Monday, Jan. 15, 2024.
