The JCC Day Camp has been providing a rich, traditional camp experience to children for 85 years. Activities include sports, swim, arts and crafts, archery, Jewish culture, weekly shows, special events and trips to amusement destinations.
For nearly 90 years, the JCC of Staten Island’s Day Camp has provided a summer camp experience for thousands of children guided by the principles of safety, fun, discovery, friendship, and values.
Activities include sports, swim, arts and crafts, archery, coding, Jewish culture, weekly shows, special events and trips to amusement destinations.
Located at the 75-acre Henry Kaufmann Campgrounds in the Greenbelt, the site features athletic fields, shaded picnic areas, playgrounds, basketball, volleyball, and Ga-Ga courts, an archery range, and three Olympic sized swimming pools. The swim program is under the direction of the Lenny Krayzelburg Swim Academy.
Additionally, we offer a camp program for children with special needs and a travel and CIT program for teens.
Staff is trained, talented, energetic, caring and devoted. Hot lunch available. Flexible scheduling and financial aid. Accredited by the American Camping Association. JCC Members and Non-Members welcome. Specialty sports and performing arts camps also available.
