Six Flags Fright Fest…in April!

Prepare to be scared during spring break next month. No, not with extra homework—with Scream Break at Six Flags Great Adventure!

The New Jersey theme park will host a mini version of its popular Fright Fest—usually held around Halloween—during the NYC public school spring break. Scream Break will be open at Six Flags April 8 through April 15, 8-11pm.

Families can enjoy the park during the day, then stay late (for an additional fee) to experience this after-hours event. Highlights of the terrifyingly fun event include haunted houses, a scare zone, ghouls and nighttime rides on some major attractions, including the Great American Road Race, Sling Shot and Dare Devil Dive.

What to Expect at Six Flags Great Adventure Scream Break

Families will get access to two of the park’s popular haunted houses, a scare zone, a Scream Break Dance Party and more, all starting at 8pm. Nighttime rides include:

  • Kingda Ka
  • Superman: Ultimate Flight
  • The Green Lantern
  • Twister
  • Dare Devil Dive
  • Sling Shot
  • Great American Road Race

If you haven’t been to Six Flags lately and plan to visit during the day, there are several new attractions for families to enjoy. Last year, the park announced its largest array of improvements in its nearly 50-year history. It added new dining options, events, animal encounters and more.
