They say it’s not whether you win or lose, it’s how you play the game. Well, Mid-Island Little League played their hearts out this season and they are all winners to us! As the Mid-Atlantic Regional Champions, and coming just one game short of competing for the U.S. Championship title, this team of 12- & 13-year-old baseball players should be beyond proud of their impressive accomplishments. We know we’re proud!
And so is Staten Island. Last week we called on the community and fellow Mid-Island fans to sign our card to the team wishing them luck and congratulations on their run in the 2018 Little League World Series. We received an outpouring of support for these talented boys, with almost 300 supporters stepping up to show their love for Mid-Island. Check out their messages below, which they sent throughout the series.
