Staten Island Stores Offering Free or Cheap Classes for Kids

Things are expensive these days, even when it comes to fun recreation activities for kids. But did you know there are many major retailers on Staten Island that offer free or cheap classes for kids? It’s true! From craft classes to digital design workshops, there are many retailers on the island that host free, engaging and super fun classes that kids love. Browse our list of stores offering free or cheap classes for kids on Staten Island, all designed for young participants to learn from and have fun!

Looking for more ways to save? You can round out your day of cash-saving fun by grabbing a bite to eat at these Staten Island restaurants where kids eat free. Afterward, escape the heat this summer at a cool theater to catch a kid-friendly movie for just two bucks during the Regal Summer Movie Express.

There’s a full schedule of 2023-2024 in-store kids workshops on the website. Workshops planned this year include a Rolling Toy Pickup Truck, Heroic Fire Truck, Thanksgiving Turkey Photo Holder and more fun projects. Workshops are held on the third Saturday of each month.

Apple Store

Staten Island Mall, 2655 Richmond Ave.
The Apple Store in the Staten Island Mall holds free hands-on workshops to help Apple product users hone their skills. Workshops include a fun Music Lab, where kids learn how to make theme songs. Check out upcoming sessions on the website. Also, the retailer just launched its annual Apple Camp for the summer for kids who love digital creativity!
