Looking for activities for kids as the new school year gets started? The JCC of Staten Island is your place to play, learn, and belong!

Kids can explore their creative sides and develop new talents with exciting youth enrichment classes like music, painting, ceramics, hip-hop, theater/improv, and chess.

Young athletes enjoy basketball, soccer, tennis, volleyball, and NEW for 2025—flag football! Kids can also make a splash with group swim instruction and NEW pre-competitive training and water polo programs.

Extracurricular activities help kids and teens become a part of a community. The JCC’s iTeens group gives teens a safe space to make friends and get involved in community service projects.

The JCC also offers monthly Camp Night events and School’s Out programs that bring kids together for activities outside of the classroom! After-school programs like those available at the JCC empower kids to learn and grow together.

Families with young children can find four convenient preschool locations and options for working parents. Limited daycare seats are available at two locations. A variety of “grownup and me” style classes are a great way for little ones to build skills while their guardians socialize. The JCC also hosts free or low-cost family events, such as carnivals, festivals, and holiday celebrations that parents and kids of all ages can enjoy together!
