Head on over to the Lane! If you and your family are looking for some fun things to do without leaving the island, New Dorp Lane is delivering two fun events!

New Dorp Lane District Restaurant Crawl 

The New Dorp Lane Business Improvement District (BID), New York City Council Member David Carr, and the Staten Island Economic Development Corporation are excited to invite you to the fabulous 10th Annual New Dorp Restaurant Crawl!

Immerse yourself in an unforgettable dining adventure with mouthwatering dishes from 30 amazing New Dorp restaurants. Everyone is invited to wander down the Lane, discover fantastic local businesses, and enjoy fabulous free entertainment. The festival will light up New Dorp Lane, just below New Dorp Plaza South. Food lovers can pay one price and delight in tastes from ALL participating eateries! Sponsored by New York City Council Member David Carr and managed by the Staten Island Economic Development Corporation (SIEDC), the annual event is a beloved tradition within the BID, bringing in over 1000 attendees. Diners have the unique opportunity to “crawl” down New Dorp Lane and sample dishes from 30 local restaurants specializing in diverse cuisine, including Mexican, Chinese, Italian, Japanese, Indian, and more, tabling outside of their storefronts.

The New Dorp Lane Business Improvement District (BID) announced that discounted tickets are now on sale for the 10th Annual New Dorp Restaurant Crawl, which will be held on Sunday, September, from 2 pm to 5 pm on New Dorp Lane between Hylan Boulevard and South Railroad Avenue, Staten Island, NY 10306. Reduced-priced tickets are limited. Foodies can purchase them in advance for $20.00 each on Eventbrite here!

Visitors who miss the online sale can purchase tickets on the day of the Crawl for $25.00 each in front of Piece-A-Cake Bakery (177 New Dorp Lane). Tickets purchased on the day of the event are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.

Participating restaurants at this year’s Crawl include:

Brioso Ristorante, Cafe Con Pan III, Cantina Mexicana Restaurant, Domino’s, Fresh Twist, Hi Sushi, Ho’ Brah, Home Frite, La Strada Italian Restaurant, Little Italy Gourmet, Moka & Co., Mr. BBQ, Oils of Italy, Pho Rainbow III, Piece a Cake/Cookie Jar, Pizzeria Giove, Plaza Bagels & Deli, Plaza Pizza, Poke Bowl Station, Precious Island Tea Shop, Prince Tea House, Pronto Pizza & Pasta, Seabass Taverna, Siu Kitchen, SoBol, Something Sweet Homemade, Taste of India and, Vivi Bubble Tea.

New Dorp Lane District Car Show

Known as one of Staten Island’s largest car shows, the 7th Annual New Dorp Lane District Car Show is coming back on Sunday, September 28, from 9 am- 3 pm on New Dorp Lane between Hylan Blvd. and South Railroad Avenue, Staten Island, NY 10306. Sponsored by New York City Council Member David Carr and managed by SIEDC, the event is a showcase of automotive excellence, including hundreds of American cars, muscle cars, foreign cars, exotic cars, and more.

Enjoy live entertainment, delicious food from local vendors, and a vibrant atmosphere filled with community spirit. Whether you’re a car aficionado or just looking for a fun day out with the family, the New Dorp Lane District Car Show has something for everyone.

Car registration begins at 7 am. Vehicles must enter from New Dorp Plaza. Judging will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., with the award presentation taking place at approximately 2:30 pm. The show ends at 3 pm, and early exits for vehicles are not permitted. On-site vehicle registration is $25.00, cash only.
